Today I went to the beach.

As I was sitting in the sand I found half of a cone shell.

When they are whole they have a beautiful spiral pattern in the back. I kept it anyway because it’s still beautiful.

That’s how I feel sometimes. Broken in half. Many of us do.

What we need to remember and reaffirm within ourselves is that, damaged though we may be, we are still beautiful. I am still beautiful. Emotional scars and all. #wscspirals
