This winter I began exploring the greenspace behind our apartment, just as I had explored the Oregon winter beaches 15 years ago…photos, music, dancing; crying, laughing, sobbing…all the way to deepening relationship with self, God and others. I must have 2 hours daily here in this wood an hour to settle in to the deep an hour to breathe. I always find something wonderful, view, creatures (deer, woodpecker, coyote) learning which plants are edible, searching for the elusive morel…..all, all feeding my spirit for another day with humans. I am so very grateful to be finding communities of folk also seeking for the next moment of growth, hopefully with more wonder.
