When dealing with trauma, I think it is really hard to find a good resolution. Things are not always black and white…there is a shitload of grey and fogginess involved in the mix. I suppose that is normal in these types of situations….the confusion and loss you feel coming out of that darkness while attempting to choose your next path. As individuals we are consistent in being who we ‘are’ however the facts of life that you wish to also be as consistent, seldom are.
As I edit this photo of the storm out on the lake, I ride the storm within; where the waters in the photo are calm my waters are rough. Where the sky in the photo is dark, my skies are clearing….but the intersections between sky and water remain difficult to pinpoint. Odd feelings to deal with.
