So sad to read the news about that photographer Peter Lindbergh has passed away, at the age of 74. Peter was a huge master in fashion photography.
I haven’t ever been in fashion photography, but I’ve always looked up to the way he approaches photography. As an example, he never attended fashion shows because he didn’t want to learn to see fashion in the way that everyone else does. By this, he did hold on to his unique style.
One quote from Peter says a lot and applies amongst us here in The One Project -community:
“Photography gives you the opportunity to use your sensibility and everything you are to say something about and be part of the world around you. In this way, you might discover who you are, and with a little luck, you might discover something much larger than yourself.”
May he rest in peace.
All of you lovely people here in the community, believe in yourself and be the unique you. Take care!
— Peter Engberg
