It is a blessing to live so close to the water, where sights like this are common. I took this last night after some family members intervened and dragged me away from my dark and lonely home.
They felt I was withdrawing too far.
It turned out to be a great evening of reminiscing and fun. Hanging out is such a simple thing that can make a huge difference in attitude.
It is a shame that for many of us, it is nearly impossible to initiate it on our own. We have to be dragged out by people who care. I don’t know why it is so hard to let go of the darkness.
