Nearly four weeks ago, when I first learned about The One Project, I was deeply moved by Bryce’s statement, “If you find yourself stuck in darkness, the first thing to do is find and start capturing the light.”

Since that time, I have tried to shoot photographs that illustrate that intriguing and uplifting concept – of capturing light.

This morning, while riding my bike through the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, Arizona, I saw a distinct spot ahead of me where the early morning sun illuminated a small patch of ground on the trail. To me, this represented a goal, an opportunity, a challenge – to emerge from darkness and revel in the light!
